Who Am I? Day Three | Men Rewired
Due to the recent and ever-changing challenges of COVID-19 or coronavirus, Oklahoma Baptists have decided it is in the best interest of everyone involved to cancel the upcoming retreats scheduled for April 17-18 (Women’s Retreat) and April 24-25 (Men’s Rewired). Registration fees will be refunded. Our team is actively working to issue each registrant a refund in a timely manner. This may take some time due to the volume of registrants. Unfortunately, we will not be able to host a live feed for these events. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience but would like to prioritize the health of all Oklahoma Baptists. More Information >

This week, we will focus on working and keeping as God has called us to. The following verses apply to some of the roles that men play in this world: husband, son, father, employee, and spiritual leader. As you read them out loud or write them down, consider what each has to do with the idea of working and keeping that which God has entrusted to you, allowing God to speak to you directly through each verse. Keep at it for ten minutes. When time is up, write down the truth(s) that stand out to you.
Listen to your father who gave you life, and do not despise your mother when she is old. Proverbs 23:22
Husbands, love your wives, as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her, that he might sanctify her, having cleansed her by the washing of water with the word, so that he might present the church to himself in splendor, without spot or wrinkle or any such thing, that she might be holy and without blemish. In the same way husbands should love their wives as their own bodies. He who loves his wife loves himself. Ephesians 5:25-28
Fathers, do not provoke your children to anger, but bring them up in the discipline
and instruction of the Lord. Ephesians 6:4
Whoever works his land will have plenty of bread, but he who follows worthless
pursuits lacks sense. Proverbs 12:11
Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one. You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your might. And these words that I command you today shall be on your heart. You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise. You shall bind them as a sign on your hand, and they shall be as frontlets between your eyes. You shall write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates. Deuteronomy 6:4-9
Write down what you hear God saying to you.
