Biker, Motivational Speaker
The Greek term “Koinonia” was used nineteen times throughout the books of the New Testament to illustrate to the people of the time what authentic fellowship truly was. But what is “Authentic Fellowship” in our time? During this breakout session we will peel back the multiple layers of fellowship as exemplified in 1 John. Then we will focus on the characteristics of what the Apostle John & the Apostle Paul considered key to authenticate fellowship. Lastly we will look at how we are to apply these attributes in our daily lives.

Strong through the Droughts
Despite the great victories of his life, David was a man like any other and succumbed to many sins. And yet, God never abandoned him. Studying David’s final years, this breakout will be looking at how a man can follow the counsel of the Word and listen to the prompting of the Spirit to make decisions that will allow him to “finish well.”

Caring for Orphans: What, Why, and How?
In this breakout, we will look at what it means to be doers of the Word, with particular attention given to orphan care. We will consider the reasons for doing orphan care, and some practical ways to show compassion to the fatherless.
You Can’t Live Lukewarm and Live on Fire
In this breakout we’ll answer the question, “What’s worth living for?” At sixteen-years-old, Holden had no idea. All he knew was that he was scared of people’s rejection. And that doing crazy, insane things was a sure way to get people to like him––or, if not like him, then at least notice him. Now, 500 interviews, three years, and a book later, he’ll never forget the truth he found behind that question. A truth that showed him that “what’s worth living for” is far more insane than any daredevil stunt he’d ever done, and is full of infinitely more adventure than he ever could have imagined.

Chasing the Red Dots
As a youth pastor, Daren had a pastor once put red dots by the names of some of the students in his youth group and told him to not worry about them. They were troubled kids that didn’t need to take up Daren’s time. He was pretty sure that wasn’t right. This breakout will look at how men can begin to follow Jesus’ lead and pursue those red dots.
TRUTH TRACK LEADERS
Truth Tracks are similar to breakouts in that they are short 1-hour sessions. The difference is Truth Tracks are 1 topic spread out in 3 sessions. They are similar to a 3-week small group Bible study in one weekend. Men will select a topic and will stay in the same Track throughout the conference.
These Truth Tracks will be used to create free, downloadable, small-group studies for men. They will be available Fall/Winter 2018.

Playing for the Visiting Team
Based on 1 Peter 2:11 and Philippians 3:20, this Truth Track will present a challenging and motivating charge to live as a genuine Christian in a world that either doesn’t understand or just flat-out opposes the Savior we serve. Kenny will call on personal experience of more than 30 years in Division I intercollegiate athletics as a metaphor to describe going on the road, competing in a hostile environment, and the concepts of team. The sessions will be built on a foundation of personal purity, and dedication to the Christian life with a challenge to contend not only for the gospel, as Jude admonishes, but also for a life through which the Spirit can flow freely in building the Kingdom.

Dad, the Most Important Title You Have
In this Truth Track, Bubba will recount the day he became a father and what that role means. He was excited, scared, and unsure of himself all at the same time. He knew he loved his son with all his heart but he had no idea what to do with him. He started watching men he looked up to and learning all he could about being a dad. He has since had three biological kids, adopted two more, and fostered 14. He was the head football coach of a high school for six years. During that time he learned the father can be the most influential person in a child’s life; good or bad. There are many types of fathers—biological, adoptive, foster, and step-fathers. All can be very powerful depending on what men do with their role as a father. Bubba will share stories of fathers and what can be learned from them. He will help men understand their role as a father and how they can be a positive light in their children’s lives.

He will answer questions concerning the mystery of Christ, the gospel that we should preach, and what awaits us at the Judgement Seat of Christ. The hope is that, at the conclusion of this presentation, those in attendance may be equipped with the necessary tools to study to show themselves approved unto God.

The pendulum swings of manhood have left us with inadequate definitions of comprehensive manhood. In trying to define manhood, we have rightfully looked to Jesus as our standard. However, in that search for a definition, we have sought to make Jesus look more like us rather than us look more like Jesus.
In GentleMANhood, Phillip will explore a manhood that accepts the hunters as well as the men who wear three-piece suits. We will broaden the definition of what manhood is and isn’t. We will accept that there is an assault on manhood in our culture, and sometimes that attack comes from friendly fire.

Man of God – Leading Your Family by Allowing God to Lead You
You don’t have to be perfect to be a man of God. Dr. Charles Stanley writes, “A man of God is a maturing man, a striving man, and a knowledgeable man. And the first step toward real manhood is spiritual rebirth.” Scott will share insights from the Man of God book and how Dr. Charles Stanley influenced him as well as the men in his church. He will share practical ways for men to implement these teachings in their own personal life. Man of God will challenge and equip men to become a better leader, father and husband. What makes a man? The answer starts here.

A Life Worth Following – Spiritual Disciplines
This breakout session will challenge men to build six critical spiritual disciplines into their lives helping them to hear God’s voice and follow His plan. Staying close to Jesus is possible with the implementation of true spiritual disciplines. The development of spiritual disciplines will result in a complete transformation of everyday life. The ultimate goal of this Truth Track is to help to replace old, destructive habits with new habits that will give men the ability to interact with God in a close and personal way.

Authentic Disciple or Counterfeit Christian?
Many people in the church today struggle with confidence in their faith. By the same token, many outside the church identify as “Christian,” but have nothing to do with the church and discipleship. By examining 1 John, we will look at the markers of a genuine follower of Jesus Christ. Do you truly know that if you were to die you would spend eternity in heaven? Do you have a true, saving faith in Jesus Christ? Scripture provides us with markers by which we can have confidence that we are a child of God.

Living in Light of Eternity
At the age of 22, Abraham was drafted by the Miami Dolphins. What he quickly realized was that the fundamentals of football didn’t change. In fact, they were repetitively practiced. The very same bag drills he did at 7 years old, were the same bag drills he was doing as a rookie in the NFL. This Truth Track will cover the fundamentals of our life and our faith: we’re all going to die, heaven is real, hell is real, and Jesus is our only hope. Vince Lombardi said it best, “Excellence is achieved by mastery of fundamentals.”
